It's that time of year again...the BRIT Critics' Choice nominees have been announced!

Hello everyone!
So, the nominees for the BRITs Critics' Choice award have been revealed and it is time to see who is destined to be the next Adele, Sam Smith or Ellie Goulding...to name a few of the many artists who have won this award. I thought I would give a little introduction for each nominee and give my prediction on who might win. :)

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa has already taken the UK by storm due to her catchy tunes. The songs you would be most familiar with would be Blow Your Mind (Mwah) and Hotter then Hell, with the latter entering the top 20 on the UK Official Charts.  With tunes as big as these two, it looks likely that her career will come on leaps and bounds but will she be the lucky recipient of the Critics' Choice award?

Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie set alarms ringing that she was going to be big when she released her single...err..."Alarm." Since then, her career has gone from strength to strength, as you probably might have known due to the massive smash hit collaboration with Clean Bandit and Sean Paul, "Rockabye." At the time of writing, "Rockabye" has spent 4 weeks at number 1. Will the successful career carry on with a Critics' Choice win?

Rag 'n'Bone Man

I have to admit, Rag 'n' Bone Man is not as well known as the other two nominees yet it doesn't mean he is not a worthy contender. With support from fellow musicians, such as Bastille, he already has a small community of fans. However, with his single Human getting regular plays from Radio 1, and being performed by Emily Middlemas on The X Factor, it is soon becoming clear that we will be hearing more of him in the future. Will that future include a Critics' Choice award?

Who do I think will win?

It's a tough one as they are all worthy winners. However, based on the success of Alarm and the massive tune that is Rockabye,  I think that Anne-Marie may have just pipped her fellow nominees to the post.

The winner of this prestigious award will be announced on 8th December 2016

Radio 1's Big Weekend 2022

Hello! so, big news everyone...I went to my first proper big festival and what better festival to go to than one which is hosted by Radio 1:...
